Finally! Adam, Eve and all their descendants have an evening destination to call home, at eden South Beach (yes, with a small "e"). A power foursome of owners created this unique organic, sustainable, all-inclusive restaurant/nightclub: James Beard award-winning chef and Top Chef Masters alum Christopher Lee, hospitality guru Kelley Jones, famed South Beach entrepreneur Larry Rizzo and Colorado nightlife magnate Chuck Shafer. Interior designer Andrew Alford of Dirty Lines Design Studio adorned the sinfully gorgeous inside, but it's the private al fresco Garden of Eden that dazzles with Cabana-style dining in an actual growing garden, where fresh herbs and forbidden fruits ripen until Chef Lee picks them for your plate. This stuff is REALLY farm-fresh!
The earthy menu at eden is divided into "Temptations," First Courses and Main Courses. Traditional American favorites are reinvented into Dungeness Crab Rolls, Apple Chestnut Ravioli and Miso Sea Scallops. So where's the sin in eden? In one word -- Dessert. "Eve's First Bite," a decadent warm apple tart with creme fraiche and candied ginger; and "Temptation's Passion Fruit Cheesecake," with caramelized bananas and macadamia nuts, are almost impossible to resist. Or maybe Adam and Eve lost their way in eden after hours, when the alluring South Beach bar hoppers come out for wicked fun!
