Beware of Sharks in Jupiter! (Daaaa Dum. Daaaa Dum.) It's here! the Sharkbite you will actually look forward to! Scott Driscoll (former owner of Sierra Grille) and Kevin Monti, (former exec chef at Brewzzi in Boca Raton) have set the bait and are awaiting your arrival at their brand new restaurant, The Sharkbite Grille, which opened February 8, 2012 on West Indiantown Road in the space formerly occupied by the Atlanta Bread Company.
A lifelong fan of Jimmy Buffett, Scott wanted to open a restaurant that would give guests the same kind of experience that he loved whenever he visited one of Buffett's popular restaurants; "a place with a fun vibe, relaxed, casual - where anyone will feel comfortable. Families and people with kids or grandparents, sports fans - really anybody", says Scott.* One very cool conversation piece is the 14-foot great white shark coming out of the wall! It’s actually a replica of one that golfer Greg Norman caught in Australia! Kids can amuse themselves with the cool "shark appilques" embedded into the tables while adults chill with an ice cold beer.
You'll find a sea of choices on the menu, starting with great "Nibblers" like Smoked Fish Dip, Wings, Drunken Shrimp and Fish Bites"! "Big Bites" (entrees) include BBQ'd ribs, Pork Chops, Fresh Catch of the Day, Baja Fish Tacos and more. There are big sandwiches like the Cornflake Crusted Grouper Sandwich or the Turkey Club Wrap, and a selection of burgers including a Tuna Burger, a Veggie Burger and a juicy 10 oz. Angus Burger. Chef Kevin is including some healthy options for kids and adults and they're cutting their own fries in house. And wait 'til you taste his Sweet Potato Tots...a fun and delicious spin on the Tater Tots we all ate as kids.
