Christian and Bruno, the charming owners of Le Bouchon in the heart of Coconut Grove, welcome you every day to their warm and relaxing spot. Come in and taste their irresistible cuisine, a blend of Lyon and a splash of South Florida. Chef Christian Ville trained at Michelin 3-star restaurants Roanne and Collonges au Mont d'or, worked in Paris as head chef of the French Defense Minister, and in top hotels in England and Morocco before joining Le Bouchon in 1998.
Select a prime seat for people watching at a tres Parisienne outdoor cafe table, or indoors at a cozy red-checkered-clothed table, surrounded by colorful French posters, assorted wine bottles and pretty artwork. The French way to start your meal is with a crock of rich Onion Soup, crowned with a golden crust of Swiss cheese, or a warm Goat Cheese Salad with a Red Wine Dressing. Follow up with a heaping bowl of fresh steamed Mussels bathed in White Wine and Shallots with crisp French fries. Or perhaps you'd prefer fragrant Chicken Fricassee with creamy Morel Mushroom Risotto. Be sure to check the blackboard for wonderful daily specials, too.
