Description
Miami's spacious, modern Grimpa Steakhouse was named for the "grimpa," dried pine tree branches used by Gauchos (Brazilian cowboys) to start the campfires that cooked their dinner in the fields (Pampas). Gauchos are also the inspiration for Grimpa Steakhouse's "Rodizio" style of service, where servers walk between tables with large, sword-like skewers threaded with prime, succulent meats, recalling the delicious history of the Pampas. Juicy cuts of Sirloin, Rib Eye, Tenderloin and Flank Steak, plump Sausage, tender Lamb, Pork Loin, Chicken, fresh Salmon and much more are continually delivered to your plate. A rainbow of luscious sauces, like garlicky Chimichurri and sweet Mango Chutney, accent the individual flavors, while the fully stocked bar enhances everything!
Miami New Times has awarded Grimpa's sumptuous salad bar the title of Best Salad of 2010. Loaded with a whopping twenty fresh salads and eight exquisite hot dishes, it's a choose-it-yourself, buffet lovers' dream of handmade options that change daily. Even vegetarians can get their fill because choices sometimes include Waldorf, Tabouli, Caesar, and Lentil salads, as well as white rice, black beans, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables. But don't surrender your fork until you've surrendered to creamy Coconut Flan, decadent Chocolate Petite Gateau with vanilla Ice Cream or a gorgeous plate of fresh fruit. Ole!
