Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation opened the first Friendly's Ice Cream Shoppe in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1935. Friends, family and neighbors have been gathering at Friendly's for over 70 years to create magical moments, enjoy delicious, made-to-order food, and delight in premium ice cream...all at very family friendly prices!
Even today, Friendly's still makes all their ice cream using milk from area dairies, and their authentic hot fudge is made with imported Dutch cocoa. They carefully choose and prepare ingredients for everything on their made-to-order menus, from delicious breakfasts to yummy Burgers and SuperMelt™ Sandwiches. Most of all, Friendly's takes pride in the fact that they have been at the heart of so many warm memories, and they're proud to be inspiring more memories for their guests every day!
