Easy, breezy Captain Bob's Place is ideally located on Seaway Drive in Fort Pierce just a block East of U.S. One, before the bridge to South Hutchinson Island. The small eaterie has a few tables inside and patio tables outside as well as an exhibit of treasure from historic shipwrecks to hold your interest while your food is prepared. There's water, water everywhere, and lots of wonderful seafood to eat! And the Pulled Pork Sliders are out-of-this-world delicious as well.
The star of Captain's Bob's menu is the bounty of fresh oysters to choose from, prepared every way you can dream of: fresh-shucked on the half-shell; roasted; lavished with caviar, cream and onion (Lorraine style) and more. Clams are served over pasta -- or not, Garlic Crabs are yours for the crackin', peel & eat a mountain of fresh Gulf Shrimp; and loads of sweet lobster go into the Original Maine Lobster Roll. Feast like a pirate on Captain Bob's Favorite: all these awesome shellfish over a tangle of pasta, with a Greek Salad on the side!
In a cruisin' state of mind? Call the Captain to schedule a dinner cruise or charter a trip, but don't forget to pick up a bunch of homemade subs while you're in the neighborhood. Iced Champagne and Oysters or Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp with cold Beer -- Captain Bob's your man!
