The first high-rise hotel and condo ever built directly on the Fort Lauderdale Beach was the spectacular Ocean Manor Resort. Over fifty years later, new owner Frank Talerico re-opened the entirely revitalized property, showcasing the gorgeous poolside Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar and Cafe, just a step away from the warm sand. "Good times come easy" here, where the summer days are endless and the balmy nights are a tropical dream.
The Cafe's Appetizer menu reads like a bountiful hors d'oeuvres assortment at an exclusive cocktail party: Pork Dumplings, Coconut Shrimp, Fish Bites... for more casual fare, there are Francesca's Fresh Homemade Pizzas, crisp Tropical and Chef Salads, and tempting Wraps. Have fun with a half-pound Beach Burger or a Hebrew National Hot Dog. For a seaside feast, indulge in one of the specials, like Bamboo Shrimp with Chili Thai Sauce, tender Filet Mignon Kabobs or succulent Twin Lobster Tails!
It's always a party in paradise at the Tiki Bar, with live music every evening and during the afternoon on weekends (weather permitting). Sundays are extra special, with a festive Caribbean style Pig Roast complete with all the trimmings; and the shimmering beach comes alive on Full Moon Night celebrations.
