When you walk into Ambrosia you'll see that the walls are lined up and down with oil paintings and sketches of every genre. Sculptures sit tucked away in the restaurant's many nooks. You'll be greeted by an imitation of Renoir's "Luncheon of the Boat Party", and a bust of Spanish explorer Hernando Cortes when you enter. Almost every dining room-sized table has a different set of chairs around it. It's unique and it works.
The food is simple Italian fare prepared from scratch, daily. Everything is fresh; never frozen, never pre-made. So be prepared to wait a little longer...it's worth the wait. Enjoy an antipasto or some delicious soup while you're waiting for your Chicken Marsala or some of the best pizza you've had in a long time!! Ambrosia also has a great wine list & a fine selection of beer.
