According to a staff member, the Chef and her husband once shared a romantic courtship involving seven nights of orchid corsages, inspiring the name of this Stuart restaurant.
At lunch, the menu is mostly Thai, while at dinner the Chef introduces a variety of Continental touches, such as French-influenced desserts. Subtle, hot and sour, sweet and spicy elements combine in a Rack of Lamb and Buffalo Strip Steak, Crab Cake Fritters and Escargot in flamed Pernod Sauce. A spectacular 7 Orchids Duck is a generous portion of succulent, pan-roasted Duck Breast in a luscious Red Curry Sauce. Delicate and spicy at the same time, the exceptional Pad Thai is a multi-textured treat of slippery Rice Noodles, fresh Vegetables, and your choice of meat, seafood or tofu.
Enhance your selections with a premium Sake, some bubbly or Wine from the international list, or an icy Beer. While anticipating your main course, try Golden Pillows, stuffed with Crabmeat, Pineapple and other treasures in Chili Sauce, or the sparkling Black Orchid Salad sprinkled with Fresh Raspberries.
